I've spent all weekend cleaning out my inventory. Been deleting things I've had since I rezzed back in 07. I'm currently down to just over 86,000 items but my goal is to get it down to 50,000 so I've still got some major weeding out to do. One area I can't seem to delete anything from is my skins folder. I love going back and looking at how some of the best selling skin designers in SL have evolved. It's really quite amazing. 

The skin above is Lara Hurley's newest creation Elsa. I bought my first Lara skin, Vanessa, July 2nd of 2009 and I still have it. Can't bring myself to delete it. Seems like I wore it forever. These days, my skin changes with my moods. Can be weekly, daily....a few times it's been hourly and I'm always looking for really beautiful skins. Guess you could say I'm a collector. I'd hate to think of exactly how much of my inventory is skin but in Lara's folder alone I have 27 fat packs and that doesn't include the group gifts, hunt items or singles I've purchased over the past 3 years. Last time I counted I had about 60 different skin designer folders altogether. After five years on the grid, I've collected some of the most beautiful skins. So more than likely I'll make the cuts elsewhere.

Holli Pocket has come out with some darling button down shirts for all you girly girls out there. They really are adorable. They come in both regular and sheer with pin stripes and tiny little bows and go perfect with her Girly Girl jeans. Together they create a great casual look that's oh so feminine. I dropped by Collabor88 this morning to see the new collection and took home almost all of the designs. They were all so beautiful but I wanted to get my favs up first. The above outfit is new from The Sea Hole. The pants are mesh with lovely detailing around the bottom of the legs. The top is a soft, sheer bodice over a patterned bra in the color of the pants detail. Altogether a very chic look.

Maxi Gossamer also has some beautifully crafted mesh necklaces that I picked up. One of which I'm wearing above. You really have to see them to appreciate her work. Another designer who pay close attention to detail when creating her designs.

Last but certainly not least, these adorable mesh earrings from [Atomic]. They're embellished with sweet little beads a feather and a rose. I absolutely adore them.

Fall in love with ~Sassy!~

Ok, I know it's the middle of summer and the heat is unbearable throughout much of the US but I couldn't resist blogging this very hot sweater dress from ~Sassy!~. This sultry little number has a high collar, falls off the shoulders, boasts a mini skirt that will show off miles of leg as well as half moon cut outs on each side that will show off the sensual curves of your torso. You can't help but feel sexy slipping in to it.

 I'm sooooo ready for fall. Fall and winter are my two favorite seasons. I love it when the air turns crisp and cold, the leaves turn to hues of burgundy, orange and gold and the sky is a cobalt blue. Each year in the fall I head up to the mountains and spend a lot of time wandering around, hiking and camping. There's something about being out in nature during that time of year that feeds my soul. Unfortunately, we have to endure this oppressive heat for a few more months, so I'll make sure to keep cool lookin smokin hot in ~Sassy! designs.

Sweet Intoxication came out with this cool ass mesh top with a nod to the "Phantom of the Opera" on it for the Jersey Shore Grenade Free Wednesday sale. Being one of my favorite productions, I couldn't resist blogging it. Would go great with just about anything but I decided to pair it with some sexy lingerie from Attitudes and hair from Dura for an evening at home dancin around my house to the Sex Pistols.

It's hot as hell. The mercury is kissing 104 and there is no relief in sight. However, I'm sitting here in a wonderfully cool, climate controlled home relaxing with a nice tall glass of ice water and a bowl filled with chunks of chilled watermelon. All of the things on my "to do" list have been done and now it's "me time". Got Norah Jones' soft, sultry voice singin "Turn Me On" coming through my speakers and just enjoying life. Wanted to blog something soft and floral, however, I'm not much of a floral kinda woman so I opted for floral scenery instead. Anyway, here's something soft and pretty.

 This gorgeous creation is from Rebel Hope. In my quest to seek out mesh designs that fit perfectly with no editing to my shape I found this completely elegant dress called "Sabrina". Sleek and sensuous is the only way I can describe this design. I feel simply stunning wearing it. If you don't have it yet, you really need to get it. It's one of those classic pieces to keep in your wardrobe for a romantic evening out or any kind of formal event.

I stopped in to Mon Cheri this afternoon and immediately my eyes were drawn to this delicious swimsuit. I dig the animal print combined with the ribbon trim and sweet little bows. It's both girly and really sexy. I got several compliments as I was posing for the photo. It definitely turned some heads. I opted for the turquoise because the color was so rich and vibrant but there are many to choose from. So if you're looking for something to slip in to on your way to the beach, this hot little number will make you sizzle.

The Innocent Suffer

Ok, I'm sorry people but I'm a little sidetracked today about a story I read in the news this morning about a man who forgot his toddler was in the car with him. He drove on to work forgetting to drop the child off at daycare and left him baking in the car for two hours before co-workers noticed him and called 911. This child was lucky and survived, others have not been. Near the end of the article it was stated that there is now a free app called "Baby Reminder" that notifies parents when they're driving with their child in the car.

Seriously?? Who are these people? I have to ask....have we as a society become so self involved...so preoccupied that we need an app to remind us that our children are in the car with us? What's so terrifying is that these "incidents" are becoming so common. Every summer when the temps start to soar you hear of innocent children who have lost their lives because their caregivers just forgot all about them. I'm sorry, but IMHO, if you need an app to remind you about your kid. They should not be in your care.

People, if you have children...WAKE TF UP!! Get off the computer, put down your phone, stop face booking, tweeting, blogging, untangle yourself from work...whatever the hell you're so wrapped up in doing and give them the attention and care they deserve.

A friend of mine was telling me how sexy chicks look in guys white shirts. You know the cliche scene....big night on the town, both dressed to the nines, little to much to drink, a night of wild passion ensues and in the morning he awakens to see her wearing nothing but his over sized white dress shirt. Yeah ok...it drips with cheese but it did get me to thinking that I didn't own a white button down at all...not one. So I went in search of one. Didn't take me long to find this very cool, crisp white shirt at Leverocci. Oh and by the way, they're having a great sale as well so I picked it up for next to nothing and that alone is worth a lil cheese.

I swear Tricky Boucher is a genius when it comes to creating skin. Lily V2 is just breathtaking. For the first time ever I've been buying tons of red hair and loving the freckles. It takes me back to the 70's when everyone was satisfied being naturally beautiful, before all the glitz, glam, big ass hair, caked on make up and plastic surgery took over. Ah the good ole days. Well, if you haven't bought it yet....don't be an idiot. Haul your butts over to Belleza and buy this beauty and then tell Tricky what a brilliant artist he is and thank him for his years of hard work in SL that have made all our avs more beautiful.
