Just a quick portrait I did using another of my favorite Glam Affair's beautiful skins. This one is Roza in Natural. I'm normally a lover of rich, darker skins but am really loving the change to something pale for winter. I'm wearing the same outfit from my "Oh Amberly" post but got a totally different look using a lighter shade of skin from Roza. I'll be doing more skin reviews as I've picked up many over the past couple of weeks so stay tuned.

Glam Affair  has come out with a lovely new skin that I really love. It's called "Amberly". I'm wearing the Jamaica tone above with the cleavage enhancer. My favorite detail about this skin is the glossy lips. They're perfectly pouty and glisten with just the right amount of shine. If you haven't made it over to Glam Affair to meet this beauty, you're really missing out!

Hope For Emilia

On Sunday July 22nd at 1pm SLT the Hope for Emilia fundraiser begins. The event will be open from July 22nd through August 9th to raise money for the victims of the Emilia, Italy earthquakes that struck in late May and early June. The event will feature a summer fashion fair, fashion shows an art expo and entertainment events.

Beauty is only skin deep

I've spent all weekend cleaning out my inventory. Been deleting things I've had since I rezzed back in 07. I'm currently down to just over 86,000 items but my goal is to get it down to 50,000 so I've still got some major weeding out to do. One area I can't seem to delete anything from is my skins folder. I love going back and looking at how some of the best selling skin designers in SL have evolved. It's really quite amazing. 

The skin above is Lara Hurley's newest creation Elsa. I bought my first Lara skin, Vanessa, July 2nd of 2009 and I still have it. Can't bring myself to delete it. Seems like I wore it forever. These days, my skin changes with my moods. Can be weekly, daily....a few times it's been hourly and I'm always looking for really beautiful skins. Guess you could say I'm a collector. I'd hate to think of exactly how much of my inventory is skin but in Lara's folder alone I have 27 fat packs and that doesn't include the group gifts, hunt items or singles I've purchased over the past 3 years. Last time I counted I had about 60 different skin designer folders altogether. After five years on the grid, I've collected some of the most beautiful skins. So more than likely I'll make the cuts elsewhere.

Feelin Sassy!

I always appreciate the time creators spend on their designs. I especially love really well made clothing in SL and these new articles from ~Sassy!~ are really top notch. In the first pic my outfit consists of some beautifully taylored mesh pants with a high waist. They come in several colors and go perfectly with this lacey blouse complete with puffed sleeves and a bow collar. Together they make a wonderfully chic outfit.

The second pic is a romantic poet shirt and again the attention to detail here makes all the difference. The quality is really lovely. I've paired it with a high waitsted corset skirt from another of my favorite designers, LeeZu.

Last but not least, this really sexy outfit. Blousy mesh capri pants and a top that has a delicate sheer bodice. Being that it's been such a sweltering summer here so far, this is my personal favorite. ~Sassy!~ definitely has high quality clothing with high fashion flair but don't take my word for it, stop by there and check out the store for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
