Route 13 Biker Sims~Hellraizer, Devil's Tail and Hells Ridge

A friend of mine invited me to check out three biker sims he helped build today and being a lover of all things biker related I jumped at the chance to have a look. Hellraizer, Devil's Tail and Hell's Ridge are the creations of Creep Wolff, Vinny LeShelle, Howie Parkin and Tito Koray. Three visually stunning sims complete with miles of open road for bike riding, campfires and fire pits to gather around with friends, a lovely park with a touching monument in memory of an old friend, and lots of gorgeous scenery making it a photographer's dream.

 The main attraction though is a smokin, hot new club called "Dead End". (Click the pic above for the full size) This place is massive. It's got more than enough space for drinkin, dancin and raisin virtual hell. There's even a huge stage that I'm told will be used for live music events. My hat's off to Creep, Vinny, Howie and Tito for these brilliant additions to the SL grid but reading this can't compare to experiencing them yourself so use the links above and go check em out. Summer in SL~

I was out grid hopping a few days ago and came across the most incredibly beautiful sim. I think what blew my mind most of all was that it was just sitting there empty. This place is truly breathtaking. I spent hours exploring it and appreciating the wonderfully creative mind that brought it to virtual life but in all of the time I spent there, not once did I see another avatar pop in to check it out. I love exploring SL sometimes with friends but most times on my own scouting for exciting new builds to take photos in. After a while I began to love that fact that no one came. It was like having my own little fantasy island. Needless to say I  took advantage. I dug a cute little summer bikini out of the back of my SL closet....(my monstrous inventory) and went to work. The pic above is the one of the many results and if you wanna see it bigger, just give it a click. Now...I usually share when I find a place I really like but for now....I think imma keep this little gem a secret.

New Release ~Morgan~

I've got a smokin, hot new shape available. Miss Morgan just hit the walls at Bodacious. She's got some dangerous curves and is sure to turn heads so get your ass movin over to the store and try her out. She'll make a Bodacious Babe outta you. ;)

I don't get it~

I read a lot of fashion blogs. Hundreds actually and one thing I've noticed in the past year or so are female avatars who fatten their lips to the extreme and then pull the corners of their mouths so far down they're almost touching their chin...wtf is that about? Don't they realize it's not cute? It makes them look like they've just swallowed a lump of shit and it's made them wanna hurl. To add insult to injury, their shapes are disfigured....huge square hips and legs so skinny that between them...it looks like a perfect square. It's the most freakish, unattractive thing I've seen in SL...and in my four plus years there I've seen some weird shit.

Every time I see one I just wanna kick it.

...and then hijack their sliders.

When Irish Eyes Are Smiling~

So I've been spending a lot of time in the Dublin sim and one of my favorite places to hang out while I'm working is The Blarney Stone. I've met some really interesting and very cool people there. Made some new friends and heard some wicked sweet music from several of the live performers. Day or night there's always something going on. The people are a lively bunch and there are always folks that are new to SL or perhaps new-ish hanging about. So whether you're of Irish descent or just looking for a taste of Ireland, pop on over and check this place out. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Home is where the heart is~

Ahhhh Christmas morning. Woke up early to the smell of coffee and fresh baked Cinnamon rolls. A sure sign that my mother is in the house bless her heart. I swore this year I was gonna sleep late but the aroma in the air  slowly coaxed me out from under my thick, plush duvet. I love the holidays. The air is cold and crisp and although it's raining cats and dogs outside, my house is a toasty warm haven filled with delicious scents and the soft, melodic sounds of Christmas carols.

After the gifts, coffee and warm, ooey gooey, spiced buns I piddled about in SL exploring with a few friends. I decided to hop over to the Lost World sim as I recently re-discovered it a few weeks ago and love the new builds I found there. No longer just a mass of water and greenery but filled with lovely brick buildings, a castle, a clock tower and a quaint little market area.

If you haven't seen it yet make sure to put it on your "to do" list. It's quiet and peaceful. A perfect place for reflection....thinking about all the things you're thankful for this holiday season.

A Christmas Gift For Everyone~
