I popped by a friend's house today just before we went island hopping and he was telling me about noob mentoring. He does a lot of it....me not so much. I did take one noob under my wing about two years ago and we ended up becoming very close friends but I have to admit, I forgot how incredibly time consuming it can be tutoring someone who has never spent any time on the grid. Teaching them everything from how to walk, utilize their cam, inventory, packing and unpacking boxes and God forbid, editing prims. I have the utmost respect for anyone who spends their time helping the new folks to SL and yeah, I should probably get off my ass and pop over to the noob sims and offer any help I can. I'm sure there are thousands of people just waiting to discover all of the wonderful hidden treasures of Second Life.

Sometimes things in life don't go the way you want them to. Sometimes it throws a hell of a curve ball and all you can do is hold on tight and ride the roller coaster for all it's worth. The cool thing is while you're hitting the highs and lows and your stomach is doing flip flops, you realize what's truly important in life, who you can count on and who ya can't. The people that hold you close and lift you up, those are the rare gems in life the ones that really shine....even on the darkest of days.

I just adore these mesh shorts from Mon Tissu. They come in several gorgeous colors but I really love the peach. It just reminds me more of summer. Nothing better than poppin over to the farmers market and grabbing the fruits and berries of the season and Georgia peaches are one of my favs. Kyoot had the perfect little lacey, white top to make this outfit complete. Before you know it fall will be here so get out and enjoy the hot, lazy days of summer while ya can.
